Utsav had one of the most popular luxury banquet halls for the last two decades or so but they recently renowated the rooms and the property. The rooms are oppulent yet affordable and the property exhudes of an ethnic charm. I felt relaxed and rejuvenated and the food was just awesome. They also have alot of experiences here like yoga and a tour guide. Must visit!!

The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood at Jambooni and is about 5 km from the railway station. Food - They serve both veg and non-veg. We had ordered different fish preparations which were excellent. Operating hours - The kitchen works till 9.30 pm so dinner needs to be ordered prior to that. Complimentary breakfast includes toast omlette and puri sabji which was just about ok. Entertainment sources - There are no sources for adults but there is very small garden for kids to play. Cleanliness: It is quite neat and clean. When compared to a more professionally run hotel there is a lot of scope for improvement. Interior and exterior - Ordinary and nothing much to write about. Service delivery - The staff is quite friendly and polite but lack a bit of professionalism. Parking facility - There is capacity for 2 four wheelers inside the hotel. Rest need to be parked outside. Price range - The hotel and the food are decently priced but charge higher rates during Poush Mela, the time of my visit. Recommendation - Overall it is an ok place to stay for few days.

Stayed in this hotel from 9th Nov'19 to 11th Nov'19. Booked the rooms by MMT.The hotels rooms are OK and clean. Attached toilet was also clean with Hot water facility. The room was not well lit( natural light) as there was only one window at the corner. Food was available downstairs in the area adjacent to the reception.The food was tasty and good but costly. The hotel has a small garden attached with seating arrangement and it has a large hall for marriage and other events which can be divided into two. the hotel is located about 10 mins by toto from the Rabindra University. Toto's are generally available outside the Hotel.The window type A.C was efficient. Feel the Hotel needs some maintenance and a fresh coat of paint. Also the devices like intercom, Geyser, lamps etc. need regular maintenance.

Hotel Utsav is really recommended hotel to stay your cool time as per our experience to stay over there for two days while in Bolpur. It was great time enjoyed by us everything hotel location surrounding places was very famous to visit near by the hotel easily available transportation services. Hotel building was too beautiful from out side look inner side of the hotel was made beautiful by carving windows and nice open corridors from there cold air coming was made us really excited while living, ground staff of the hotel was too helping behavior it made us so happy and excited to stay out over there it was great living time we had lived,

We were three of us and wanted to share one room. On reaching we had to pay extra money for a third person in the room. We asked for an extra blanket and extra bed. They could not provide an extra bed but they charged us for the same. The bedding was dirty and was not changed the next day. Only one towel was provided which was not usable. The intercom connection in the room was not functional, the TV was not working, even after asking for a blanket and pillow several times it was not given to us until next day. The food was horrible. We had asked for a service car to take us around, they did not accept card facility for payment of the same while checking out. We were asked to provide cash of which they could not provide us change, neither did they give us a bill of the transport. The manager was uncooperative and even after telling him about our problems, he was argumentative. We were disgusted by the whole experience.
